Introduction Post

 My name is Lauren Cargill and I'm a senior at Oklahoma State University. I'm studying Psychology with a Pre-Law emphasis and a minor in Communication Studies. Originally, I am from Dallas, Texas. After graduation, I'm moving back to Dallas and working for Kappa Delta Headquarters as a Traveling Leadership Development Consultant. I'll be living in Dallas 50% of the time and traveling around to various college campuses for the other 50%, consulting with Kappa Delta chapters.

I took this class because I want to expand on my writing abilities in a way that will directly apply to my career. I have always been a decent writer, but never in a way that directly applies to my life, only in the context of English classes. I'm looking forward to learning about public writing, and doing some writing of my own.
